Bread Soup: An Old Icelandic Recipe (2009)

SATB a cappella.  Available for free, but only to MN ensembles.

Text by the late Minnesota poet Bill Holm.  His version of the recipe emphasizes the time it takes to steam and soak and boil until the soup is “just right”.  Perhaps a metaphor for the creative process in general.
