SATB a cappella, with flute or oboe obbligato.
An arrangement of the familiar Stephen Foster song, with a little harmonic “crunch” and a bit of Celtic rhythm. Uses three of the original verses, sung in a different order.
For some reason, this is my most-performed piece. Although scored a cappella, piano can generally double parts and cover the obbligato. When the lower voices have the melody in the second verse, piano can double upper parts and obbligato.
